This is a super easy recipe and kids love the change.
Bread
eggs
butter
jam
Take a slice of bread and butter both sides then cut a circle in the center of each slice using a small cup. Spray a skillet with cooking spray and then place bread in skillet. Crack an egg and place the egg in the hole of the bread. Cook until egg is set up enough to flip the bread and egg. Cook on other side until done. Serve with jam.
We call this egg's in a window. We love it with a little syrup.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried it with syrup I will have to do that! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWe love this at our house! I have 6 kids, and we call them hole in one's. I have some who eat them with syrup, powdered sugar, and some just take them on the go (theirs have to be solid yolks). I just found your blog, and am super excited to try some of your recipes!!
ReplyDeleteMy brother in law (yes he is a cowboy lol) introduced it to us and I love it for my kids. It gives them there protein :)
